Don’t you just love it when you stumble upon a new clothing line? And to make it even better, every time you wear one of their pieces, someone asks you where you got it from. That’s what’s happening since I bought a few items from […]
I fell in love with this OneOneThree skirt months ago, and finally I own it! I bought it to wear it casual with trainers and t-shirts but the day it arrived I was heading out and I just had to wear it! So, I hauled through my wardrobe to see what would match up and decided on this cold shoulder bodysuit with a cute ruffle right the way around the neckline and wrap up shoes, both from ASOS. To complete the look the other half had surprised me with a pack of ten different style chokers that were from on offer on Groupon and I decided a plain tie design went perfect with the shoes. When I get around to wearing it casually I’ll post a photo.
And so another 2 months have whizzed passed my eyes since I last sat down to write a blog. How did that happen? I don’t even think I’ve been that busy.
It was my birthday last week though so I always refer to the month of May as my ‘birthday month’ and have an annoying habit of spreading out the celebrations for four weeks.
I started very early (even for me) this year with some nights out – a pyjama and prosecco night – always involves lots of fizz and an take away – delicious; and a night out with the girls – which involved the usual – Cardiff, wine, dancing, shots, more dancing, lots of selfies and ending in the best part – cheese, chips and gravy. A birthday isn’t a birthday without all those ingredients.
Then I was whisked away by the other half for a weekend of culture and exploration. We went to Edinburgh so the exploration was mainly curtailed to craft beer pubs and seafood restaurants – I loved it!
We did have a nose around Edinburgh Castle but I have to be honest, it was mainly to say we had actually done something ‘touristy’ more than anything else. It was great though – but there are only so many selfie sticks a woman can take so I wont be rushing back – its ticked off the list, that will do (definitely deserved my pint after that!).
My actual birthday involved lots of cards, flowers, presents and a night out for food – yes, I know, food, me, who would have thought? 🙂
And to top it all off, a homemade cake made my the best sis ever!
Happy birthday to us! Bigsislittlesis is officially a year old!
