same genes, different style

Look what I found!

Do you ever buy something that sits in your wardrobe for ages then suddenly you are totally inspired and decide it goes with everything you’re wearing right now? Well that has just happened to me. I have had this cape jacket from Jameela Jamil‘s collection […]

Casual or Smart?

I fell in love with this OneOneThree skirt months ago, and finally I own it! I bought it to wear it casual with trainers and t-shirts but the day it arrived I was heading out and I just had to wear it! So, I hauled […]

Royal Ascot Fashion

ticketLast week I was lucky enough to go to the races. I’ve got to be honest, I was a little skeptical about the whole day, imagining thousands of people crammed under cover from the rain – a meat market!

I couldn’t have been more wrong. What an awesome day! The weather helped as we only had two very tiny showers that you didn’t really need to shelter from but as I had a new lace umbrella I felt the need 🙂

I was definitely going for the fashion not the horses but once the betting and racing started, and I had the first winner of the day, I was hooked! In saying that, the girls looked amazing in their outfits and the boys scrubbed up well too!

A little flutter
Turns out I was quite good!

Above L-R: Clare is wearing a dress from Phase Eight, shoes from New Look and hired her perfectly matching hat from Two Hat Ladies. My dress and cover up are both Coast from Simply Be, my hat is Johnny Loves Rosie,  shoes are Vivienne Westwood and the bag is the iconic lips from Lulu Guinness. Shelley is wearing her dress from Topshop and added Irregular Choice shoes and a Vivienne Westwood oversized clutch. Shelley hired her hat from Top Notch Hat Hire.

Below: Laura looks amazing in her top and skirt from Coast which she teamed with Carvela shoes from Kurt Geiger, a bag from New Look and hired her hat from Top Notch Hat Hire as well.

And I couldn’t do a piece on Ascot fashion and not give you a little glimpse at my hot date for the day. The other half bought his 3 piece suit from Moss Bros, along with his shirt and tie, and his shoes are from Sole Trader.

What shall I wear …. to a festival?

So, at the beginning of the week, I asked if anyone needed help with some outfit ideas and the lovely Rebecca asked if I could get her some ideas of what to wear to a festival. I know she is off next weekend so I have […]
